PUSH Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 13, 2026 Company: Crenshaw & Holmes Group LLC ("PUSH," "we," "us") Contact: hello@joinpushnow.com
PUSH helps people stop gambling, one day at a time. What you share with us is personal, and we treat it that way. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
The short version:
- We collect only what PUSH needs to work.
- We never sell your information.
- We don't show ads or use ad trackers.
- Your recovery details are private to your account. Your Push (your support person) does not see them.
- You can delete your account and data anytime from inside the app.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: your email address, password (stored encrypted by our database provider, never visible to us) and first name.
- Recovery information: your "why," your biggest trigger, your typical bet amount, and the pushes you record, including the date and time of each push.
- Your Push: the name and phone number of the person you choose as your support contact. Only add someone who is comfortable being your contact.
- Push Nation (community): your community name, the posts and replies you write, the "I'm with you" support you give, reports you submit, and people you block.
- Messages to us: anything you send to hello@joinpushnow.com.
Information created when you use PUSH
- Basic technical information our servers record automatically, such as IP address, device and app version, and the time of requests. We use it to keep PUSH secure and working.
- Subscription status: if you subscribe, Apple tells us whether your subscription is active. Apple handles all payments. We never see or store your card or payment details.
Information we do not collect
- We don't access your contacts, photos, location or bank accounts.
- When you send a PUSH invitation, it goes through your phone's own share sheet (Messages, email, etc.). We don't store the name, number or message you send.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Run PUSH: your account, your Push Count, money protected, badges, celebrations and Your Push.
- Run Push Nation, including showing your posts and keeping the community safe through moderation, reports and blocks.
- Provide subscriptions and restore purchases.
- Respond to you when you contact us.
- Keep PUSH secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- Understand, in totals only, how PUSH is used. For example, "how many members reached 30 days."
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it or "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Who can see your information
- You: everything in your account.
- Your Push: nothing automatically. They only know what you choose to tell them, for example when you tap "Call" or "Text" in the app.
- Push Nation members: your community name and what you post. Not your real name, email, recovery details or Push Count.
- Our founder and moderators: community posts, replies and reports, so they can keep Push Nation safe.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with companies that help us run PUSH, and only what they need:
- Supabase: hosts our database and accounts.
- Apple: processes subscriptions and payments through the App Store.
- Squarespace: hosts our website and any emails you send to us.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety in an emergency, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger. If that happens, this policy will continue to protect your information.
Sponsors: if PUSH partners with sponsors (for example, a business that provides milestone rewards), sponsors only receive total numbers, such as how many members claimed a reward. They never receive your name, email or recovery information.
5. How long we keep your information
We keep your information while your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete your account, recovery information, Your Push contact, push history, community posts, replies and reports. Some technical logs may remain for a short time in backups before they are erased automatically.
6. Your choices and rights
- Change your information anytime in Account Settings.
- Remove Your Push anytime in the app.
- Delete your account: Account Settings › Delete account. This permanently deletes your data.
- Cancel a subscription in your iPhone's Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription automatically.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@joinpushnow.com.
Depending on where you live (for example, California and several other U.S. states), you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know, correct and delete your information, and the right not to be discriminated against for using these rights. Email us to make a request. We may need to verify that the request comes from you.
7. Health-related information
Information about gambling and your recovery can be sensitive. PUSH is a peer support and accountability tool, not a healthcare provider, so this information is not covered by HIPAA. We protect it anyway: it is private to your account, never sold, never used for ads, and never shared with Your Push or other members.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, encrypted passwords and database rules that keep each person's data private to their account. No system is perfectly secure. If you think your account has been compromised, change your password and contact us.
9. Age requirement
PUSH is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If wemake important changes, we'll update the date at the top and let you know in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
